Mela Stregata shows exceptional work at home which saw her start favourite in her first three starts. However, she failed to go through with her effort on the race course and was beaten in all three.
It was back to the drawing boards at Greyvlle yesterday. Back to a sprint and blinkers saw her finally bring her homework to the track as she scored comfortably under Anton Marcus. Duncan thinks that she may just be a late maturing filly and is hoping that she can come on from this win. Good luck to Maine Chance Farms and their racing manager, Glen Hatt.
