Injured on debut and off for nine months, Bold Beauty came good at just her third start back to score a smart victory in the last at Greyville yesterday. It was a particularly good ride from Anton Marcus who was notching his four win of the afternoon.
Given the pedestrian early pace, Marcus kept Bold Beauty off the rail and likely traffic and also keeping his options open.
Before turning for home he was on his bike and Bold Beauty responded, going clear at the top of the straight and fighting on to win well.
It was a welcome win for the stable after notching a string of second places.
Good luck to Jimmy Sarkis who owns the daughter of Bold Silvano in partnership with Duncan.
